Technical
Description Preliminary
The MPEG-2
A/V Encoder Card is part of a family of powerful-single-board
solutions designed to compress audio and video for broadband network,
home network and security applications. Its main application is
video over IP, enabling the delivery of value-added services such
as streaming video with multicasting technology, video surveillance
and video conferencing. The card, which comes in 2 configurations:
low latency with a bit-rate up to 8Mbps and full DVD quality bit-rates
with higher latency, is shipped with device drivers and sample
application code for easy installation, setup and operation. The
MPEG-2 A/V Encoder Card creates an efficient environment for rapid
prototyping and reduced time-to-market.
