Building on the success of its popular VW2010 MPEG-1, 2, & 4 A/V codec chip, VW5010 quadruples the performance of the VW2010 with simultaneous 4 D1, 8 Half D1, 16 CIF of A/V Codec channels at 30 frames per second or 16 D1 A/V Codec channels at 7.5 frames per second in one single chip. Vw5000 includes added features that are essential for intelligent Digital Video Security and Entertainment (SecuTainment) Systems applications.
