Vweb invites you to the Vweb “Entertaining Digital Home” extravaganza and  demo at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronic Show (CES 2006) at the Sands Convention Center, Hall C, Booth 70634

This invitation to attend a detailed presentation and product demonstrations of Vweb’s technology is being sent to a small fraction of Consumer Electronic Show 2006 attendees, namely senior level engineers and managers interested in the latest in video compression and distribution. Vweb’s booth is located in the Hall C of Sands Convention Center. The Booth number is 70634.

As a leader in MPEG compression and broadband video networking technologies, Vweb will be demonstrating our MPEG-1, 2, 4 ASP, H.263 A/V CODEC and H.264 decoder based solutions with the following Reference Designs and Product Showcases:

1. Vweb’s  new product demo for VW3010 and VW4012 chips

- The Vweb’s VW3010 is a single-chip MPEG-1,2,4 ASP and H.263 AV codec with Quad Stream outputs.

- The Vweb’s VW4012 is a single-chip MPEG-1,2,4 ASP and H.263 AV codec with an H.264 AV decoder.

2. Vweb’s customers’ IP-STB Product Showcase.

- The Sumitomo Stream Cruiser IPSTB has been deployed by NTT Communications for “OCN Theater” video distribution service and NTT East and NTT West “Plala” Video on Demand services in Japan for more than one year based on Vweb’s VW2010 MPEG-1, 2, 4 & H.263 A/V Codec Chip.   

- The IBM-Vshow Dual Mode DVB-C and IPSTB will be deployed by China Netcom, and many other service providers worldwide, based on Vweb’s VW2010 chip solution.

3. Entertaining Digital Home Product Showcase

- The Shanda Networks’ IPTV Game Box with Personal Video Recording capabilities is based on Vweb’s VW2005, MPEG-1, 2 & 4 A/V Encoder chip.

- The iCube’s Digital Media Adaptor (DMA-RW) is based on Vweb’s VW2005 solution and iCube’s Digital Home Gateway and Wireless LCDTV are based on Vweb’s VW2005 and VW2002, MPEG-1,2,4 A/V Decoder chip  

- The Flexcomm’s “Papillion” media home gateway reference design is based on the Intel IXP425 CPU with a Sigma Design decoder and the Vweb VW2005 encoder for media home gateway applications with Voice over IP, IPSTB, PVR, uPNP applications

- The Toshiba’s latest DMR2000 reference design from Coventive Technology is based on the Toshiba TX4939 CPU and Vweb encoder/codec technology for network DVD and media home server/gateway applications.
