networking technologies, today announced that Samsung
Electronics, launched its "homevita" Wall pad Home Gateway
Solution based on Vweb's VW2010 Single Chip MPEG-1,2,4 A/V
Codec Technology.
The Samsung "homevita" Wall pad Gateway has a 10 inch wide
TFT-LCD with 800 x 480 resolutions. It provides Video Chat
functions for Security Monitoring of visitors, Home to Home
and Home to Security Center visual/audio communications using
VoIP Technology. VoIP Technology is empowered by Vweb H.263
Baseline Codec. Videos are stored in MPEG Format. The Wall pad
features front panel and touch screen controls with
microphone, speaker and camera. The dimensions are 365mm x
276.5mm x 70mm and it has a weight of only 2.2kg.
